OVERWHELMED
The Space: The Dining Room
The Brief: We have recently had a big emotional upheaval. I am overwhlemed and don't know where to start. My anxiety levels are 10 out of 10 and I just want you to fix it. We live in a 2 bedroom apartment that is full to the brim.
The Result:
You have just left and I am sitting in my newly sorted space. I am finally relaxing. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. I'll say it again. THANK YOU!
OFFICE OF THE JET SET
The Space: Home Office
The Brief: I have only just moved here and haven't had time to sort things out. I am constantly travelling and I have so many public engagements to attend I've just let things slide out of control. I wanted to start writing a play but I've run out of room to do it!
The Result:
This is fantastic! I have space to think. I can start work on my new book as well as the play. Thank you
HOME OFFICE
The Space: Shared Office
The Brief: The office has become a bit of an unintentional dumping ground. It is both dangerous and unusable. There are papers and equipment that are obsolete mixed in with important and urgent paperwork, it's difficult to know where to start. We would like to be able to use this room as a working office and a place where we can receive clients. We have these custom made, beautiful bookcases which are hidden behind the piles.
The Result:
The Office is now a place we enjoy using. We can find everything we need and it is still a surprise to be able to do this! Mail no longer builds up and things are done in a timely manner....... What a difference.
HOUSE TOO FULL!
The Space: Childs Room
The Brief: There are 6 people crammed into our 3 bedroom house and it's so small. There is no room for any of us to move and our children are learning bad habits. I am so sad and overwhelmed by the mess everywhere but what can we do in a house this small?
The Result:
Thank you so much, I didn't think this was possible. It only took a day and it looks so nice and cosy for our child.
WORKING FROM HOME
The Space: The Entire House!
The Brief: We have a 2 storey house and I'm running my business from a corner of the bedroom. I use the Salon as a dumping ground which makes it difficult for my clients to get in. I used to be house proud but these days I run around in circles getting flustered and angry. I know that we're not setting a good example to the children. We have a big clean up when visitors come then it seems to get messy straight away. I don't know where to start.
The Result:
I am so pleased about my Salon. Being the first room as you enter my very open plan home, everyone, including me, would dump our everyday items. Now my customers do feel relaxed when they arrive. Thank you so much. You have definitely brought some Heavenly Order into not only our home but also our life.
LIVING SPACE
The Space: Open Plan Lounge & Dining Room
The Brief: Even though this is a large room we still don't have anywhere to put anything. We trip over things as we walk in and there's a feeling of confusion that greets us everyday.
The Result:
I can't believe the difference this has made to our lives, there is a sense of peace and harmony. When can you come back and do the rest of the house?!
KITCHEN
The Space: Our House
The Brief: We run a multi-national business, and, although we have offices, we often work from home. It is important to be near our children and so we have set up a home office so that we can be available to them. Problem is that I am constantly retrieving my equipment from others in the house. We also enjoy cooking and having family dinners, we have plenty in our pantry but it is so packed in it's difficult to retrieve.
The Result:
It's so nice to use now, everything is so easy to retrieve, let's hope it stays this way...
SPARE ROOM
The Space: Bedroom
The Brief: To do something to make this room work, there are bits and pieces everywhere and we can't find anything. Nothing fits!
The Result:
Thank you for your help, you've inspired me to do more........ The Office is next!
